Connect Invitation

I designed this invitation for an open house, featuring a classic fifties retro look. I've always been captivated by the vintage aesthetic—it takes me back to when we’d listen to fifties music in my mom’s Chevy Vega. Even though I’m a child of the eighties, I grew up with the sounds of that era.

We used this design as the basis for a screensaver animation I created for the event, which played on all the workstations. The agency invited all its clients from their book of business, and to set the mood, we played fifties music in the background. I’ve found that having a themed event helps tie everything together. Linking your theme to an era or broad topic creates an instant connection with your audience—pun intended.
