529 Brochure

Iowa was one of the first states to offer a 529 plan, and I had the opportunity to be a part of it. My employer partnered with the Treasurer's Office, and I was selected to travel to Des Moines to present my concepts. The brochure I designed had a scrapbook theme, something that always resonates with me—it reminds me of how personal touches can bring a project to life. I asked each staff member to contribute photos and letters that were woven into the design. I also created infographics to simplify the explanation of the 529 savings structures.

I’ll never forget the feedback from the Marketing Manager: "Mike has mad skills. I'm just loving what he's done..." Those words still remind me how impactful design can be.
