Light Brochure

I designed this brochure to introduce my employer to their business partners and prospects, using a unique mixed media approach. I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with different styles, so for this project, I layered acrylic over photographs of famous masterpieces by Leonardo Da Vinci.

The illustrations featured The Vitruvian Man and The Virgin and Child with St. Anne and St. John the Baptist because of Da Vinci’s mastery of light and shadow. We entitled our firm "Intrinsic," representing the idea of creativity being innate. Some say it’s natural, others think it’s learned—I believe it’s a mix of both. The copy connected how light and design work together to convey ideas, with a final quote from Da Vinci: "Make your work to be in keeping with your purpose."
